Here's a pic from out my front window.......actually came from a guy at work who likes to hunt them Northern camels. Its from up on the Northern Penninsula of Newfoundland. Apparently they like to gather together during late winter.

dorm said:I had a similar pic from the early eighties taken in the Tabletop area near Gros Morne. There was a guy doing a Newfoundland wilderness calendar and thought he was seeing a herd of some rather huge caribou until he took a better look and discovered a moose herd. There are 32 in the pic I have.
Both Barrels said:I always thought moose were not herd animals. Does anyone know how true or untrue this is.
