More deals coming....

How is an svt40 with just the receiver rails considered a "sniper"? Almost every SVT I've seen has those, save one or two. Rails alone don't make it a sniper. Calling it a sniper when there is no notch apparent in the photo is going to net some disappointed customers, to say the least, when they pay a premium for the rifle.

The type of notch makes a difference too. Factory notched are authentic snipers, but some railed receivers were modified in the field as sniper conversions.

I'm glad Marstar has brought in a new supply of Milsurps but am I wrong to say his SVT-40 prices are at the high end and even more? Another dealer has the same for $250 online. I'm not complaining at all. I know the expense of buying, transporting and so on must add up. Thanks Marstar for bringing in more goodies for us to ponder in your online shop window!!! I'm guessing Ivan wants more for his treasure.

I was excited by the VZ58s, too bad they are prohib. I got a restricted CZH 2003 from you guys years ago - rock solid rifle, it's never failed with surplus Czech ammo. Any chance of ever again getting non-restricted barrel length VZs or FSNs? And count me in for deactivated AK 74.

All SVT-40 supposed to have rails, but rails were dropped from production in 1942...

Out of the railed SVT-40, some were selected into sniper and notch was made to fit the scope. The sniper proof-mark was also added.

In theory, the idea was to get scope on every SVT, but scope production didn't go well.

Correct. But there is still a difference between those built as snipers at the factory and those modified in the field. Rails mean nothing.

Where's the BEEF ?
Laugh2

No beef. H:S:

Other dealers sell SKS cheaper including wood and laminate stocks version.

Other dealers sell SVT cheaper too, I know at least 3. That's to the lowest "deal" price.

With the hype that we guarantee that you have never seen these prices or combo packages, why pay more elsewhere?
I didn't expect that it would mean "you never find higher prices, why pay more elsewhere if you can pay it here..." V:I:
