More details from the Globe and Mail

Dude, knock off with that "disarming you" crap. That's the kind of talk that gives gun owners a bad rep.

Let's be clear: The government is not "afraid" of your stupid AR-15. They have way better guns than you do, and they have way more of them.

Politicians in Canada like to attack guns for one reason, and one reason only. Because it gets them elected. Because someone voted for it. Because someone wrote more letters than you did.

THAT is the reality. Now stop acting like it's all a big conspiracy.

Do they? There's only 60,000 active personnel in CAF, and only 30,000 active RCMP. How many guns can each person carry? How many gun owners are in this country? Do the math. They're trying to even the odds.

That's where your wrong kiddo....

When stuff hit the fan w/ lockdowns people were walking into the local shop here trying to purchase a firearm without a license. They had no idea & this is Alberta just imagine Ontario/Quebec
Not talking about the above, just referencing the uneducated panic the poster was talking about.
So the few centralized meat packing plants are having issues staying open. Imagine if our food logistics chain suffered a hiccup. All those folks who suddenly wanted guns couldn’t eat and were restricted to their homes on pain of imprisonment. Never happen you say, conspiracy wackos you say, thank god for a couple “normal” posters you say...

Every since sentence is blatantly false.

If you think for a second they don't fear an armed citizenry, you are sadly mistaken. If society falls apart, which we could well be on the verge of, the last thing the elites want is an armed common folk. It's been that way for 1000s of years. If you think we as a species have evolved past class revolt, you are mistaken. They know the world is in an economic bubble. They know it's going to pop sooner or later. The last thing that they want is you hungry, uncomfortable, angry and armed. They know the have nots will go for the haves. It's happened many times in history.

And this right here ^

They will be safe queens guaranteed to prevent any 'accidents' or 'thefts' occuring in transit. Give them nothing. Register nothing.

Not necessarily. C-71 has two different prohib listed. One still allows range use. Even typing this makes me gag. Fvcking liberal clowns. Piss everyone off way to go

Why Does Mrs. Prevost get so much air time???

Poly has 2552 followers on twitter. Wendy and Coalition has 3245.

They cannot even get 0.006% of the population to follow them.

We have 2.1 Million PAL holders.

also a lot of people following polysesouvient are gunowners just staying informed of all the BS they're saying.

I am one of those donut techs :), I wont be taking anyone's guns away. Hell if anything I will be using my great gov training I got for 11 years and counting to help my fellow Canadians.

So where are the conservative politicians that myself and 99% of AB and SK voted for? What are they doing to stop this? Why are they not holding press conferences and talking to us? This country is a f**king joke and I'm ashamed of the way it is turning out. My grandfather fought for this country, he is rolling over in his grave right now. The government forces us into the new great depression over the f**king flu, they do deals with communist China and let them walk all over us. Now they are disarming us. I'm honestly done with this ####. I'm sure I'm on a watchlist now that the RCMP can creep anyone they want online. F*** this. All my guns are going in a lake.

So obvious the “and variants” part is utterly idiotic but what does that mean for things like mini-30s (which I may or may not have panic bought right before Canadian tire closed). I have no intention of registering a non-restricted, because I don’t have to.

Liberals are passing bills such has Bill C-75, which keeps criminals in the streets even after multiple serious criminal offenses. They deleted minimal sentences for numerous serious crimes, even ###ual offences. They limited peace officers' legal power to detain people who breached conditions or committed other crimes. They are making our justice system permissive for bad people, they are turning it into a joke. Our laws, especially Liberals' laws, are currently helping bad people. Just think how many murderers were released because of Jordan's.

I'm deeply saddened by N-S shooting, we lost an RCMP officer, and above all, a mother for her child, a daughter and a wife. However, the shooter's guns were not legally acquired. He was not allowed to own guns.

Let's just start by keeping criminals in jail, give our law enforcement agencies some ressources and stop judging their work in trials instead of accused's crime, and stop releasing criminals under the pretext of a vague expectation of reintegration. That way, we will keep our country safer.

So....Turdo wants to ban guns because they are scary and if we save just one life... but they won’t buy any back, likely because they have no money. So we can either sell them back for a little money or maybe keep them in our safes until we die.

So I’m guessing the govt. thinks guns are only dangerous on the way to the range? They ban, we keep. How does this make anyone safer?

So this so called legislation will anger both firearms owners, and the gun control clowns? This is going to get interesting. Seems like they are trying to distract from the RCMP failure by doing this song and dance.
Do the RC have to surrender their rifles too?

Bunch of us on here noticed that every time there is a serious short-coming or a scandal in the last 5 years this government resorts to firearm ban talks.

Don't forget Turdo wants his seat on the UN Security Council, so he is willing to do whatever they say to get it. He is following the UN Disarmament Agenda almost to the letter.

The police are the public and the public are the police.
