Well i just got a confirmation email back from CSA about their products.
My initial question was regarding a 22lr vz58 rifle.

They stated that they were still working on it and it will probably be ready for release by the end of 2015.
They then told me they are more interested in finishing the vz61 skorpion in 22lr before anything else!!!!

So i got it right from the horses mouth, CSA IS producing a 22lr skorpion

It works as a recoil buffer, even in semi.
In selectfire, the hook mechanism works in timing with the retarder to not only buffer the bolt, but also retime the firing rate.
