I've dealt with all the mailorder firms. Just the other day I called wholesale looking for a redhawk 5.5" model. They said they had none in stock, so I asked what they had in .44 mag, if anything. In a snotty tone she replied, I CANT HELP YOU UNLESS YOU give me an item number, I can't help you. So I hung up and I probably won't bother calling them again. SIR on the other hand actually has people that are willing to help you with stuff, even if you don't have an item number.

SIR is good.

when i orderd a ka-bar for me and my brother, they only had one USMC one instock, and thats the only one i had a item number for, so the lady looked up the number for the USarmy one. i was impressed.

Who knows. I have ordered stuff from wholesale before, and had great service. Other times, I get someone who sounds like a snotty teenager that would rather be at the mall. Russel's telephone service leaves something to be desired as well.

On the other hand, every time I call SIR they are very helpful.

Why would people complain about threads like these with people's bad experiences? Isn't that what these forums are for? To let people know of stores that might be 'bad apples'?
