Mosin family pics - let's see yours!

Oh, one more thing about my Mosin... The stock is pretty beat up but the barrel and interior parts are in mint condition. Looks like only a few shots were taken with it. My guess is that it was used as a drill rifle, not for service.

PS.... Does anyone have problems with pushing rounds from the stripper clips into the magazine? I think I have the wrong strippers because the cartridges will overlap and make the loading a time consuming process.

Probably the wrong strippers, or loaded incorrectly. They should be placed into the stripper so that each round's lip is in front of the round below it. They only load one way, unlike Enfield dtrippers which are supposed to be ambidextrous. ;)

Holy crap, I had that tikka 91/30 out today and put three holes over each other at 100m with one flyer....It was a fluke for sure (I wasnt able to come close again) but i was impressed nonetheless!

Those are some beautiful rifles! the wood on the red one in the middle is nothing short of amazing I love it!

I only own one Mosin and I dont know much about it.. most likely run of the mill fin capture mosin. It was my second rifle ever.. (first being M96 Swede) I dont remember what I paid for it.
Here are some images..

I didnt know if those were the numbers I was supposed to cover. I dont usually post close ups.. So mosin experts, what can you tell me.

When the bolt is open, it's best to store the rifle with the cocking knob turned to the left which relieves tension on the firing pin spring.

Seeing a pic of a mosin sniper makes me want one so baaaad! Btw warghoul there is nothing run of the mill about Finn mosins especialy ones with wood that looks like that! Nice rifles all of you!

Nice batch bas :) Care to post the quick & dirty cetails of each rifle such as factory, model, year? Is the sniper an original matching example, or a recent build?
