Depends what you want it for, Gibbs. A representative of the breed? Then I'd say a 91/30, they've got a nice balance and are more comfortable to shoot for any length of time, although the carbines hold a lot of appeal based on their cuteness. If you want one OOZING with history, a finn capture, particularly U.S. made(Remington or Westinghouse) M91 or any wartime M91/30, M38 or M44 would be good. For pure asthetic and shooting pleasure, a postwar Polish M44 one would be a good bet...
