Anyone in Selkirk PM me when this happens and I'll be taking a drive. Thanks!
I'll be right behind you! I haven't seen anything like this in Winnipeg as of today.

crappy tire down here just got more mosin/ svt 40 in stock i may have to get another mosin
I am home on Monday, must drop in, I buy lots of things at the A+N, never knew they had Mosins! Are you near Yarmouth? That's the oly CT currently selling firearms, isn't it? Bridgewater says they will soon...maybe this fall.
I met a guy online that found a Henry Golden Boy .22 at his CT in Fredericton!
Crazy.
As a fellow Bluenoser, I should point out that Ron's (Halifax/ 2660 Agricola) Army/Navy just got 20 Mosins in a couple days ago. I guess everyone is getting them in now. I assume a few containers showed up, and spread the wealth around!
The difference is, and I hate to say it but it's true unlike many online stores, Eric has held his price to cost plus 25% (he'll even show you the invoices if you pester him!) - and so my beautiful pre-war '38 Mosin, with bayo and cleaning kit today was $150, like it should be. He has some war years models as well, but I liked the '38, so I grabbed it.
With tax, in my grubby, sweating hands, it came to $172.50 - in a BOX, with Russian writing, very cool, AND with a manual. (In Russian, lol)
I know it's hard for online sellers to compete, what with shipping costs etc...but many have jacked the price of a Mosin up to the next level: $175, $195 even $225...and then PLUS shipping! Add to that the fact they have less overhead, in general, than a bricks and mortar store.
I was glad to choose my rifle personally, and pay the pre Sandy Hook price of $150. Anything much more than that is, IMO, gouging. Mosins are EVERYWHERE now, just in the past week.
Just my tuppence - yes, I'm a cheap b*stard. Have to be on my salary.

Apparently there are a few Mosins up for grabs out at the Transcona range (can't recall the name of the place right this second). I was considering heading out there today but I stopped at Wholesale after work and accidentally bought another SVT. $249!!!!! Got a navy stocked Tula which I don't have already. There's Czech 7.62x54 for $269 a crate as well. Pretty decent prices, I asked if there were Mosins coming in, but they didn't seem to know if they'd be getting any.
Xtreme shooting centre would be it. Wholesale told me they weren't even expecting the SVT's, and didn't know if they were getting mosins or not.
I called Xtreme yesterday and they said they still had Mosin's in stock for $175.00. Going to go on an adventure this weekend and pick one up with a friend. Hopefully I make it in time![]()
I just got two mosins from the Windsor CT for 139.99. One is a 1925 hex and the other is a 1943. the 1943 is only 200 units different from the one I got from SFRC.
Has anyone noticed if any of the NB stores have any mosins?
Geez it would be nice if cdn tire's in my area stocked rifles. Anyone know of any stores in southern ontario that stock rifles ?
