anyone have any of these for sale? also, i noticed there was a model with a bayonet and one without that looked identical to my eyes. was the extra 200 bucks or so in price just for the bayonet, or do you get some other features?

Crud. I just ran across a couple sponsors who had the Speedstock version in stock but can't recall which vendor.

Edit: Not sure if this is the model you want but TSE has one with 3dot sights.

So does SFRC but with Ghost Ring sights but has the bayonet lugs without the bayonet.

I believe the one that comes with the bayonet has a scope rail with rear sight and front sight is slightly different.

You won't be disappointed. I bought mine from SFRC as well. It's a bit stiff to cycle the action out of the box but it'll loosen up after time or after watching tv while working the action. lol
 
I am extremely pleased with my 590a1, and I'm sure you will be as well. Very robust, not a "pretty" gun, but I personally love how they look. Only put around 100 rounds through it so far but I cant wait to use it more!
Great choice for a shotgun
 
that sfrc one is the one i want after all, the bayonet version i found but it has a ported barrel, which turns me off. too bad it looks like the one i want is not available in this country at the moment.

I've never really thought of Canada as a toilet bowl..... From what I've seen of the world, we have it pretty good here.
 
I don't have much time or respect for those who enjoy the incredible quality of life we do in our great country and turn their noses up at it. There are billions who would die to have your chance in this country and it disgusts me when people don't appreciate that.

If you don't feel free, travel and open your eyes- central Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and even the poor areas of the US (no shortage), it's an education you should invest in. And yes you're free to travel from our country at your leisure unlike many others. Everytime I've gone overseas and returned I've appreciated what we have here.

Back to shotguns.
 
I think he's just pissed he can't have what he wants when he wants......and because of the pissy attitude he had thoughts of a toilet bowl.
The sense of entitlement is strong with this one.

Just guessing that m1978 was having petulance attack. Ardent is correct about going to see how others live on our little blue planet.

I am looking for one of these 59A1's myself. Shot one at the range yesterday. The only thing I did not like was the rear sight; the wheel mechanism for raising and lowering it seemed too fragile. The Blackwater version has a sturdier unit unless I am mistaken. Also the later comes with a rail on top which can easily be put on the regular 590A1 if desired.
 
yeah, i was venting at the time since the selection around here feels like the soviet union. to the blindly patriotic fools who were miffed, get over it, i am. ordered an automatic from another brand.

i'd like to see you try and put me on that ship. so , is being blindly (ignorantly) patriotic a virtue? didn't seem to work out too well for germany, you would have fit in nicely there. they were big on shipping people to other places.
