Wow this was a cool watch!
Never seen anyone actually hunt with the shockwave.
I was looking at the XS bead hut couldn’t justify the 100$ when I could at least try out the highball bead first!

Does anyone know where to find the Defender Tactical Highball front site in Canada? I see F.O.C. carries their stuff but they only seem to have the mag follower and short shell adapter in stock currently.

Brobee has a couple good videos with the Shockwave or Tac14, once you give them a chance and get use to the right way of shooting them I bet you’ll be surprised at how well they work. I used my Tac14 clone to road swat grouse one year and it worked great, I’d keep it set up like that permanently if we could run 12.5” barrels on it. It’s just such a handy OAL with the 12.5”, looks just right as well. But oh no, that’s to scary and dangerous.

Yeah, I saw that but their shipping cost for that tiny order is like $25, I think it's cheaper ordering directly from the manufacturer in the U.S.
Just a heads up for you or anyone else ordering from Defender Tactical in the USA. My order was stopped by CBSA and returned to the USA. When I called DT to ask what was up, they told me that all of their orders that were shipped by the US Postal Servuce were being refused entry into Canada. The reason they were told was that they had not completed the customs form correctly.
DT said to me that they have been shipping to Canada for two years, but in the last few months they are not getting into Canada. So something has obviously changed with CBSA. He also told me that they have shipped a couple of orders through UPS courier and they have gotten through.
In my case, the fellow I talked to said that they have an order shipped with UPS that is scheduled to be delivered to a Canadian address this week. If it’s successful then they will try my order with the courier company. A big delay, but I’m on board with what they’re trying to do.
I will update as I get more info.
I’ve ordered from them more times than I can count, and never had an issue. Never heard of this either.

Man, that sucks. I received the order I placed after yours without issue, and I just checked my email, it was shipped via USPS, maybe I just got lucky?
No chance to shoot it yet, but I assume the taller bead will help the elevation issue and it's a larger diameter bead vs. the factory one so it's a little easier to pick up quickly. The safety is a lot nicer to operate as well.

I don’t know if you got lucky or someone at DT didn’t fill in the customs form correctly on the orders that CBSA returned. I was told that multiple orders got returned to DT. Glad you got yours. I hope the taller sight helps you raise that POA. I think with my full stock and 18.5” barrel, it might help me more then your Shockwave. I got my aluminum safety switch off Amazon. I like it too, but it’s no big deal for me.
