Just got off the phone with Dan at CSC.Does it also come with the shorter forend that is required to function?

Apparently it's just the barrel, no magtube. No forend. 150$ ish.
He doesn't know if it's heavy barrel or not.
Either way, without the shorter forend assembly and tube you're hooped for an A1.

what's the overall length with a pistol grip?
I think if I could get just the barrel, the chop saw and tig welder might be all I need to modify my old lowly Maverick 88.
If you install the Shockwave Raptor grip; You are just over the 26" minimum non-restricted length.
A normal pistol grip will put you into the restricted category.

Could you tell me who sells the raptor grip in Canada, I can't seem to find any dealer, and shockwave technologies stated that it does not ship out of USA.
I would like to get one for my rem 870 with 14" barrel.
Thanks
Sounds like the Remington 870 14" barrels at the CSC which are $180. The Mossberg 590 ones are $475 at CSC.Just got off the phone with Dan at CSC.

This , but for the 590 .A custom order of barrels made at the minimum length to fit flush with a basic 500 would be a much more economical option. You'd end up somwhere around 15" in barrel length. I think that would suit most people.
Ebay is where I got mine, no problems.

if mossberg (or??) produced a (15"?) barrel for the 500 that was flush to the standard tube mag
(like their 20" barrel fits on the 7-8 shot) it would be a HUGE seller!!! most likely COULDN"T KEEP THEM IN STOCK
What goes on in the states IS a factor,
but come on...this is OBVIOUSLY a good idea
JUST SHORTEN THE 18.5" BARREL TO 15"ish ALREADY

Wow! In the USA these are basically made out of "unobtanium". What a score. Does this possibly mean that more 14" shotguns will once again become available?
