Mossberg Tactical .22 FLAT TOP!!!!!

I was at Cabella's in Winnipeg today to by a Savage 93R17 BESV and the lasy there said they were getting another shipment of the Mossberg Tacical's in AND they were getting in a wack of the flat top's as well this time! I told em to call me when they arrive, as im getting one for my son!

No offence to this lady, but I would have told her to say hi to Peter and Tink when she gets back to Never Land.

Cannot comment about the flat top, but if they are the same quality as the originals I wouldn't recommend one. Save up for the sr22 or something similar.

Just not impressed with the craftsmanship.

What would you expect from a gun costing $275? It's plastic, plain and simple. If you want to spend another $300 and buy a SR-22 or Mk22, that's your choice. For $520 you can get a m&p 15-22, which IMO is a far better gun. Just know that if you do buy a SR-22 plain on spending another $400-$600 on upgrades! Almost everyone does.

For275 I'd expect the mag not to rattle, (and yes tried a second mag as well) not jam up every 10 rounds (shouldn't have to try every brand of ammo to prevent jamming) front stock secured and not wiggly (even after tightening every damn screw) But maybe thats just my expectations for my hard earned money.

and yes it has been taken apart and cleaned!! Junk plain and simple. Cannot recommend it. Just junk.

Just received a shipment notification for something from Cabelas. I couldn't figure out what I might have coming, as my last order was placed back in February and I'd received everything on it. Gave them a call, and was informed my FLAT TOP  Mossberg Tactical was on its way!

WhooHoo! :dancingbanana:

Damn your going to be pissed when you get the carry handle model. I hope u actually do but I think this place would be lit up with happy people getting or receiving there new flat tops.

not break when I drop it? Have more than just picatinny attachments available, that ability to swap barrels for whatever you want, tons of aftermarket mags, flat top, I could go on. Just because you see people post pics of their SR-22s with "$400-600 worth of upgrades" doesnt mean they need it, they just choose to. Mossberg plinkster owners are usually pretty cheap, in my experience, so the rifles dont get any fun stuff. If your happy with that then all the power to you, but my guns need to be more than just nice to look at.
