Most accurate out-of-box Precision rifle

Remington 700 sps Tactical all the way... thats just because I own one. Still fairly new to the precision shooting hobby. I've been told that the best groups come from hand loading your rounds and finding the right mix of ingredients that works best for you and your rifle.

remington 700 no way pgw coyote or sako trg 22

"We" are not snipers and should not use that term. Shooting is only a part of sniper capability. The DCRA was correct in changing the term sniper to precision rifle, as even the course of fire is not"sniper", let alone the competitors.

Portraying ourselves(target shooters), as snipers, is negaitive PR and adds fuel for the anti-gun faction.

The fact that you own a firearm is enough for the anti's. What we label ourselves, our gear, or our events makes no difference. Stop trying to please the illogical f*cktards that call themselves antis.

TRG all the way they are just incredibely accurate this is a no contest but just between you and me i'd take a look at a TC Icon Precision Hunter in 308 1000.00 instead of 4000.00 and not a big difference in accuracy, not as... but close. Cheers. JP.

Sako TRG 22 or Accuracy International. I have both and they are both more reliable and just as accurate as a custom rifle I have. PGWDTI Coyote as well. Out of the box is a relative term these days in my opinion.

Right because a rifle out of the box will be accurate but after load devellopement it will be extremely accurate... JP.

There was a guy on the EE awhile back selling a nice old Tikka Master in 308. In my opinion they don't make factory rifles like that any more. I wonder if it is still for sale....?

I use to have one with the wooden stock but you cant compare them to a modern TRG they had 1 in 14 twist and the trigger was barely adjustable, it shot good but the design was a bit older... JP.

Can't argue with you there but I still prefer the older design. Each to their own.

I just took my new Remington 700 sps tactical out. It's only .223, but accurate and fun to shoot.
I was shooting 55gr. FMJ at 2x8 piece of steel from 200 yards and hitting it. That's as far as this piece of land goes so I couldn't go out further.

I have an sps tactical that will shoot 1/2\" at 200 yds, but there are many that are shooting 4\" at 200 yds, sometimes you get lucky with the barrel. If I could go back in time, I\'d buy a TRG and be done.

Most acurate this is the one

Get any smith to build you one like this with a dressed up Robertson Stock
there will be no Rem,s Tikka's & Savages running with you
