I dis-agree I think there is a portion of the shooters, old or new that think money buys accuracy, or there is that one gun that shoots better. I think its important to make people aware that there is no, for sure in anything here. I have done well with high and low priced as I mentioned before. Not everyone is as educated on this matter so I think what positive information we can add to the conversation is good for all new and old.
You missed the point... a blanket statement using NO experience and drawing on incorrect parallels with unrelated firearms is not helpful in any way shape or form. The benefit of the online information highway is also the draw back... good info gets around fast, bad info gets around with lightning speed... and online armchair experts love to regurgitate BS info that they read online and then pass off as their own experience... what ends up happening is a cestpool of misinformation... that simmers on the world wide web and pops up with every Google search. I prefer either personal experience or the experience of others that I know and trust or those that have credibility due to the trust of those I know and trust... there are many very experienced shooters and hunters on CGN, for example, and there are also some that draw on "Wikipedia experience..." the trick is deciphering which is which... the truly experienced shooters/hunters can spot the fakes within a few strokes of the keyboard, unfortunately new shooters/hunters gobble up the misinformation and store it for future use and/or regurgitation, thus perpetuating the cycle.
