There’s some “ok” looking actions so far, and of course you could put beautiful Turkish walnut on anything..

But none of those are Steyr model M actions unfortunately…

I like two factory rifles the most, old and new:

Brno model 21, rifle or carbine, full or half stock. Unmolested condition of course. Now that was, IMHO, the best M98 factory sporter ever made. Svelte and beautifully fitted.

Sako 85 Bavarian Carbine. What a perfect weapon of the field. I just wish it came in 7x57 or 8x57, but vanilla 308 or 30-06 is just fine too. I would buy another if I can find a mint one.

I also loved the Sako 85 Safari / big bore line.
