Gaddafi's golden gun: Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) fighters hold what they claim to be the gold-plated gun of ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi at the site where the latter was allegedly captured in the coastal Libyan city of Sirte on October 20, 2011. A Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) commander had told AFP that Kadhafi was captured as his hometown Sirte was falling, adding that the ousted strongman was badly wounded.

Personally, the CZ-75 was the first handgun I ever fell in love with.

I think a lot of classic handguns are very good looking though.

P210, 92fs, Hi Power, 1911, P08 etc. I wouldn't disagree with anyone that thinks they're beautiful looking guns. Even Glocks have a beauty to them when you're bumping around with the lights off ;) .

Now I can see how you would say it's functional, classic, historical, inventive, and valuable, but "BEAUTIFUL" -- my sense of beauty doesn't stretch that far. If I had a "Broomhandle", I'd keep it locked away. Something always makes me think of Broomhilda when I see a c96 (just me, I'm sure, I don't know why!).

Now the Luger -- humm, that's getting closer to beautiful IMHO. It's received quite a few endorsements.

It takes more to find beauty in such things.

The Italians are all about looks! In my Tanfoglio Stock III they not only pegged the looks but included amazing reliability. Not one failure yet in thousands of rounds and the build quality is outstanding....

Lots of 1911 love.

As for black pistols, I like: Beretta 92FS,

But my all time favorite that I haven't seem mentioned here so far is the Ruger Mark II Integrally Suppressed:

Bonus points if the Mark II has one of those laser grips on it. Damn cool.

In my eyes, these are the most beautiful pistols around. There are more but I'm sick of copying links.
