A good price with quality behind it can make for a timely resale. Beyond the common calibers something like a 6.5 x 55 might attract some interest out there. So buying new to turn around and sell is not a win-win situation for the original buyer. One has to have a rifle for a number of years before it balances out. There are always buyers out there and a decent used rifle will often times show less of a loss in $ spent to acquire it in the first place.

I'm with the few people here that say 6.5x55. When this caliber comes up in a sako it doesn't last long unless very overpriced

Largest selling caliber is 308 , Canada , USA , Europe , Africa ........check it out , try and find a stainless synthetic in 308 , most everybody is sold out
