Yes, it uses Glock mags, so they hold 10, I never read far enough into the regs or tried to "interpret" them to see if I could put ten in it. I put 5 in just to make sure I was OK if I got stopped, which it turns out I did, and have an extra mag in my pocket to show my intent. And who knows if the CO would know the rules or be willing to accept that explanation. Plus, if I need more then 5, I shouldnt be taking the shot. I have set a person limit of 50 yards with it too. Although I think 100 is possible, I dont think I'm good enough to do it at that range with that gun
Well, no worries on using a full magazine if you want. BC doesn't have any magazine restrictions for hunting with a rifle. Only shotguns with shot, mag needs to be plugged so you can only have 2+1 shells in it. Shotguns with slugs have no magazine restrictions.
Federal regulations for magazine capacities still apply, of course.
Oh I should also clarify, when hunting with the Sub2000, make sure you only load 5 rounds in th emag and have at least one other mag in a pocket with 5 rounds in it to have some evidence of following the rules. It worked for me here but probably not in Ont
Doesn't it use pistol magazines? So you could load 10 rounds in it if you wish, couldn't you?
