So I recieved my Aimpoint Micro H1 today and mounted it on my AR and it is too low to use properly, just wondering where sells a little riser mount or what you guys are using to get it up a little higher? Thanks.

Can't say enough good things about the DD mount. Very lightweight, robust, inexpensive. Can't go wrong.
Agreed. I had one on my Micro and really liked its light weight. I'm using American Defense mounts for my two RMRs now and while they are very good mounts they're quite heavy--heavier than the sight itself.

every mount is heavier then the rmr i have the adm rmr mount also machined well and i like the way adm mount don't scratch and pinch your rails easy to adjust for out of spec rails
adm is the canadian larue

Cant go wrong with anything dd so far! Hopefully that company will never be run by an accountant that decides to move manufacturing to china.

I just checked the specs on the Fortis mount from OST and it's super light at 1.1 oz. For a lightweight build that looks to be a great choice, especially if it's in stock.

another vote for the DD (try Brownells maybe?), if buying in canada is a must OST has you covered.
I wouldn't want the last thing posted anywhere between a real rifle and a real aimpoint... but thats just me.

Does anyone know where I could find one of these in Canada? Wouldn't it do the same job for 90$ cheaper?

For the huge majority of 'shooters' that populate cgn, it would be a great option. But it doesn't look as cool or have the 'look-at-me' appeal as a LaRue, knights, adm, etc.

The DD mount is also a terrific option since the need for a qr mount just isn't there for hobby shooters.
