Good day all, I just picked up a Vortex SPARC Red Dot Sight which I am mounting on my VZ-58's NEA handguard. I am looking for advice from anyone who's shot a similar set up.
I am trying to figure out which riser to use. I currently have the low riser which has the dot pointing through the front sight, but not co-witnessing, more like partially obstructed by the front sight.
Is it better to just put it on the high riser so it clears the front sight all together? Also any advice for zeroing a red dot on a VZ-58 would also be appreciated as I've never zeroed a sight before? I plan on shooting 100 yards or less, mostly less.
Thanks in advance.
