Mountain Goat Hunting?

Been on one hunt. I learned that it's important to know when to pass on a shot and weather can move in very quickly in the mountains, oh, and don't forget the emergency shelter when venturing away from your base camp.

Congrats nice goat, what did you get for an age doesn't look that old, looks like you get some good growth in that area.

5ish, indeed almost all goats of decent genetics hit 9" in 4 years here, the good ones grow incrementally further, this one was 10". Four of the five top Boone & Crockett goats are from this region, the odd one out from just across the border in Alaska, same mountains.
