Ever since Kearns and McMurchy got bankrupted by the police reactivating there deact MP5's so they could charge them for it not many people want to bring in deacts like those anymore.

There is no more deact importation allowed since the late 90's. Even importing airsoft is on shaky ground these days.

I think this prohibited classification for what seems like all of HK's products is ridiculous. The libs must have really hated HK when they made the classifications.

Nope it is a recent change, last year. You must now import as a prohib, full auto, etc and certify as deact, or deact IN CANADA, per the new "Guidelines".

That's not what Marstar told me years ago when they were planning to go into deact business but was completely rebuffed by the feds.

At no time have we been forbidden to do almost anything we wish to accomplish....
As a matter of fact I beleive that overall our licenses are unique, at least that is what I was told

Agreed, they are generally imported under the film category. As with most prohib imports, they are done under the "closest" category.
