I kept one, the strait stock one with 5500 shot on it ( one malfunction, bad primer), it's a keeper MOA with 77 gr Scenars... JP.

Never shoot Norinco ammo in my rifles, personal choice, this MR-1 has being fed Hornady and Lapua scenar diet, for ... JP.Maybe 500 77 gr Scenars and 5000 Norinco?
LOL just kidding DudeWhere are you buying your AE?
Proud owner of a very reliable and problem-free XCR-L here...
I have put 3000 rounds through mine and it has never failed.
I've never had an issue with my XCR-L 1600 rounds of 7.62x39 and 1000+ rounds of 5.56mm.
The Swiss is the best of the bunch, but well outside your price range. Honestly, I'd suggest you save an extra month and pick up a Tavor over an XCR. The Tavor is a proven quantity, is very reliable, will take the LAR-15 mags no problem and you don't need to lock-tite anything to keep it from falling off the rifle. The XCR is more accurate, but it has has reliability issues, requires a 200+ round "break-in" period and if you don't loc-tite certain parts they will fall off the gun. Besides, the owner of Rob Arms is a massive douchenozzle. The MR1 & HK SL-8 are both well-made firearms, but the MR1 ergos didn't work for me and I honestly didn't care for its esthetics. The HK, is pretty accurate but heavy and I always saw it as more of a bench or bipod rifle rather than an off hand plinker. If money is an issue, you might want to take another look at the JR Carbine, Theuron Defense or even the Kel-tec SU-16. Not my cup of tea, but they are much less expensive and in pistol calibers are much easier to keep fed. Best of luck with the hunt!
Yeah, I figured if I'm going to spend $2500 on a rifle what the hell is another $700? I checked out the Swiss Arms on my lunch break today. It's a piece of artwork. Definetly worth the little extra $. Just sucks I'll be stuck with 5 round mags. They had a adapter for AR mags, but it requires the reciever to be modified. I don't think thats something I'd be willing to do. I'm just going to wait till the end of the month to see what happens with the swiss, then I'll make my decision.
I just sold a kel-tec Sub2k, and that was the one and only kel-tec I'll ever own. Their novelty guns, and it dont take long for that novelty to ware off. I like the sub guns, but if I ever get another one it'll be a Cx4.
At that price point just for over the extra coin for a b&t tp9 or if you can find one a brs99
