Mine was a little stiff to start, mainly after some rounds when things warmed up. But the upward pressure for it to cycle does not sound normal.

Have you taken it apart and cleaned it?

I applied quality grease over gun oil to the metal on metal sliding parts. Be sure to apply some to the metal pins in the charging handle to avoid them getting stuck.

I think what's causing the issue is the “teeth” at the end of the bolt, is not aligning properly into the grooves at the start of the barrel, causing my problem. I thought it was lubrication, but I’ve applied more oil and no improvement. It's just slop in the bolt. When I cycle it hard back and forth 20-30 times, you can smell the heat up / friction so I'm guessing it's just a machining issue
