That's always the key. I hope the importers work together to make sure they do everything possible to facilitate import of further interesting goodies.

Well they prohib'd the gsg just by looking at it and reading the manual, so I doubt they'd be willing to give the MSAR a second look. But you never know right?

I almost bought an AUG SA in the early 90's (still have the brochure) and kick myself for buying a Delta HBAR instead. If this thing makes it up here I wouldn't hesitate to put down the $$$. The AUG was way ahead of it's time with quick change barrels, built-in optic, full ambi design, zytel synthetics, and you can see it's influence on many of the bullpups built today.

I just got an email yesterday from an american friend of mine (who I'm very jealous of) with photos of his new STG. That's such a lovely, lovely rifle and I'd definately sell various body parts and relatives to aquire one should one of our handy dandy importers get them in.

As a general rule, we avoid imports from the US.

The chance of it getting in is pretty much zero.

If somehow the RCMP lab didn't classify it as Prohib, it would be a bloody miracle....

But judging by how they treated the GSG5 and all the AR15 .22 rifle's, they will probably take one good look, and stamp PROHIB right on it



I have always wanted an AUG or AUG spinoff... I love Bullpups, but the TAVOR never really interested me that much.

To me the biggest issue would be be more likely to be getting an export permit. If we see success on Henderson there may be a lot more possibilities than there are now.
