Yes-and there is a spring as well so I don’t believe it’s firing pin related.
Update: contacted Black Creek Labs and filled out a warranty request. 24 hours later the gun was on it's way, came back one week later with new fire control, buffer, and bolt. Shot 200 rounds with zero failures and no multiple discharge. Gotta say the warranty service was outstanding!
Glad to hear. I just installed there anti stove pipe kit hoping to test over the weekend. So far I have no complaints on their warranty but I am at the first stage. I am trying hard to be happy with my BCL. It has been disappointing but when it works the accuracy was darn good. It would have made a good single shot rifle. It Loves match grade Ammo at $50 a box!

News flash - this is a board that discusses Main Battle Rifles and all of their aspects, including I assume any problems and/or solutions to them. Like any other mechanical device, these rifles can have issues (like stovepipes, FTF and, yes, perhaps even extremely rare multiple discharges.) It's no different than having a car who's accelerator suddenly sticks; it's obviously not designed to do that, but it can and has happened. And in cases where it does, I would think it would be prudent to reach out and ask for advice or to see if anyone else had a similar problem and what to look out for in the future.
I honestly thought that I could reach out to other members on this board for any friendly sage advice on this, but instead got a multitude of "retard" and "bad timing" comments; just don't talk about it! Why are you posting this?

Check out my post BCL Catastrophic Failure. My nightmare started with Stovepipes and ended with a OOB detonation and a destroyed 102. Lucky I was not hurt! Long read but last 4 pages have the root cause. Also see BCL inspection notice on barrel extension alignment. Hope it works out for you. And agree now that Hailey is the new BCL warranty coordinator they are much better at warranty response.
any and all semi-auto firearms have the potential to runaway due to a mechanical failure - so how is reporting said failure not a public service?

OP, glad to hear they're taking care of you, sounded like their warranty department was about as competent as their machinists and assemblers for a while. At least one department there is doing something right.
My advice is to sell your BCL rifle when you get it back from warranty, there are way too many problems with their products to trust them with containing a 60000psi explosion 3 inches from your face.
Read back a few pages through this forum if you want to see for yourself, it's littered with negative reports all the way back to the release of the 102 and if you want to see the company's history just go to the black rifle section and watch for the NEA problem threads. This has been going on since they started making rifles for civilians.
One of these days someone is going to be mamed or killed when one of their rifles fails.
