Murry Charlton S&W warranty

My 686 is going in for a little more than that. Have seen so many issues on these with canted barrels down south and they don't seem to be getting fixed properly when going back to S&W down there.

waited a yr on a tc encore,, finally was told by murray Charlton manager he wold talk to tc rep ..bottom line they replaced my rifle which had not been fired as it had a tight bore,,they replaced it with a top of line stainless model so I was more than happy with them

Murray has been working with Smith & Wesson's since I first met him in the 80's. He had a top reputation then and it continues.

Not to argue, but he's been on S&Ws since the Spikeblock days in the 70's. Nobody better in this country to work on realguns.

Still have one of the Customs that my son is now using at 50yds. I think I've been in continuous possession of one of Murry's creations, since 1980 and shot it at Thetis Lk range. Gawd, the time does go by.

Kind of off topic, but I had some warranty work done on my Weathetby Vanguard by Murray Charlton, and the work and turn around time was great.
He even personally phoned me to discuss what he had done and what he wanted me to do when I got it back.

Well I can only hope the same happens with me. Everything I've been able to research has been positive.

Got my 686 back and it was repaired. Fast turn around and excellent communication from Gina and Murray. Murray phoned me a couple times and I got some very good advise from him on leading problems I was having.
I'm sending a used S&W I bought here awhile ago that has issues to get repaired and will see how that goes. So far I'm very pleased and thanks to all that replied.

Sent my 586-6 in last spring for them to look at a swelled chamber right at the locking slot. Came back around 9 weeks later with a new cylinder and a Murry Carlton tune up that I requested. 7.5lb DA and 3lb SA.

Smooth as silk!

I think the delay was getting the cylinder from S&W for warranty.

Murry, Mike and Gina are a class act all the way around. Same goes for the rest of the staff. Polite and Professional to the extreme.

I would recommend their services to anyone. I have one of his custom S&W revolvers. Model 14. Completely reworked, smooth as glass trigger and shoots better than I can hold it.

It will go to my grandson when I pass.

Ha! The old Thetis range... I can't even find where it used to be, now. Spikeblock on Katherine St. Yep, Murray has been around forever!
