Mmmmm....muskox. That's on my bucket list, but I definitely want to do it in the snow, like in c-fbmi's photo. Somehow, shooting a muskox in the warm weather doesn't seem quite perfect to me.

A friend of myn has a beautiful shoulder mount of a Muskox. That said, I believe there was a thread on here at one time asking "What animals would you NOT hunt?"

I think Muskox was on my list. Never been interested in hunting them.
 
My musk ox hunt is without question one of my most memorable hunts. These fall hunts look so much more enjoyable than the spring hunts. I'd love to go back again one day....but in the fall!
 
Congrats on a successful hunt. I got two muskox this past spring and still enjoying BBQing up the ground meat in burgs. Cheers,
