Nice ox, where abouts did you hunt? I hunted in March and it was COLD, but thge hides were amazing.

Mmmmm....muskox. That's on my bucket list, but I definitely want to do it in the snow, like in c-fbmi's photo. Somehow, shooting a muskox in the warm weather doesn't seem quite perfect to me.

I shot my oxes (oxs, oxen, oxi?) in April and nearly lost the hunt to weather. A fall hunt would be interesting.

A friend of myn has a beautiful shoulder mount of a Muskox. That said, I believe there was a thread on here at one time asking "What animals would you NOT hunt?"

I think Muskox was on my list. Never been interested in hunting them.

It was a picture of a muskox on the cover of a hunting catalog when I was a kid that got me in to hunting.

As a kid I used to read and dream about hunting muskox, polar bears, seals and walrus with the Eskimos. One down, 3 to go. 4 if I can talk them into letting me pound a whale.

My musk ox hunt is without question one of my most memorable hunts. These fall hunts look so much more enjoyable than the spring hunts. I'd love to go back again one day....but in the fall!

You can pick up the wool on the tundra up there, it's the finest natural fibre out there. One of the helpers had a Toque made out of it.

I've seen stuff for sale online. Very pricey
