When you find a machinist to thread your barrel... let me know. I found my brakes/ breaks and need a good machinist to turn my barrels.

BTW: Thanks for the PM. I think I know the medic who was deployed with you. He worked with my son in Pet.

Break vs. Brake.....

No need to get into small techincal stuff such as a typographical error. I am sorry my learning disability has offended you.

Hay there Kling, how is going, doesn't really matter how you spell it, Break or Brake, here are some more junk I got from the bin at work today.
I though doing round Brake is kind of boring, Not done yet, need minor debur and polishing. let me know whick one you think it ok, I can punch them out with the machine about 18min.

those look great! did you try them out? you should build a recoil sled to test them

I wanna mount up a brake on my LTR but I dont want a real heavy or long one

Can anyone advise on a reliable machinist who is familiar with working on firearms/ brakes in Obtario, who is not so busy and doesn't charge an arm & a leg. I know of someone, but he's inundated with work and his lead time is months.

If you know of a Gunsmith that does a good job with reasonBle price, than he the one, be patient and you will have the quality work done and reasonable price!, the other way is doing it yourself.

Gunboy,

Those new brakes:) are nice, I have seen models that were similar in shape, wonder how they would preform?

I did try 4 of the 10 on my 300 wing, it turn out very well, one of them has less kick then 308win. I finally did some more new one, take some picture when I get home!

WHO THE f**k CARE if it BREAK or BRAKE, Seem to me that Language police is everywhere not just, You know where.

Did you mean Quebec. Because I'm pretty sure we have the only official, paid a salary and conforms to all regulations as any good communist country should. :D:mad::D

My post is not directed at gunboy (who is an excellent poster) rather the sad state of affairs I was reminded of when I read about language police.

Thats just so its clear.

No, I am not insulting any one across Canada or even the state, I am just sick of the Anal attitude on this site, with my posting here, they even went so far to complain to Admin that I did some kind of advertising.

Currently running a Rem700 aac-sd in .308, not overly big obviously so there isnt that much of a need for a break....not gonna lie....I want one for the look cool factor, cuts back on the minimal recoil, and the barrel does look weird to me threaded......

I put it PWS FSC30 on my Rem Tac .i happy with that .
