I like 700 lbs of deer sausage :
You guys are too funny, I can hardly hold it together
Since you are in ontario, I could really care less if you shoot all the deer there. I think meat hunting is fine. I don't know that you need to shoot 7 deer and feed everybody in the township? If you do, then knock yourself out, it's great for the economy!!!
Anyway keep killing and keep posting this is fun

If they had the tags, than its his business.....If I would have seen that buck near my stand, It would have taken it too....
btw 7 deer is not necessarily that much meat if he had a big enough group, If I go out and shoot a 1200 pound moose would you tell me that its too much meat and that I should have left it
. We have no idea how large or small his party is so its useless to debate on how much meat they really have or need. I know people who go through 2+ Deer's worth of meat in a year.
We go through 3-4 a year and that's just myself, my wife, an 8 year old and a 5 year old and doesn't include the waterfowl and salmon I get earlier. When the boys actually start to grow it's going to be scary.
I went through 1/2 a moose, 3 deer and 1/2 a shipper hog last year and it wasn't enough.
With three growing boys the freezer doesn't stand a chance

Getting a moose doesn't necessarily mean you'll enjoy moose meat all winter! Back when I was still in university I got my bull opening day. I dress & cut my own moose and I ended up with 400lbs of trayed, boneless moose. By the time I got back home for the Xmas holidays my Dad had that damn moose eat on me! Now there's a man who loves Moose!
Getting back to the original deer...again, an absolutely beautiful animal. I hope you can find a taxidermist that can do it justice.

If you use a slight amount of that pea brain of yours you'd quickly see that if he shot 7 deer under the "group hunt" system their must be at least 6
other hunters in the gang...6 + his own tag...minimum which works out to 1 deer each! Less if there's more hunters obviously.
To make the "gang hunt" system easier for you to understand, you can shoot as many deer as the gang has tags (1 each), which in case your math is still bad it still works out to 1 deer each if all tags are filled!

At the taxidermist right now.It won't be long before I get it back as I it was only the fourth mount brought in,and he does them in order.I will run it up to nice lake and give you a look see when its done.
