Ok I want a good Ar15....Realiblity is number 1. I cant decided between a

LMT eaither the 10.5 inch defender or the 14.5inch MRP
COLT 6920
STAG ARMS
ETC ETC ETC

I know there are some really great guys on here that know alot about AR15s sooo I'm all ears and ready to learn....which one of these are you guys buying?
 
You can't go wrong with Stag. The prices aren't insane like some of the others and it's a good quality rifle.

I like the colt as well and right now you might be able to find one at an ok price. I'd look at the Stag 2T and the Colt 6940 both have the free float handguards.
 
If reliability is truly no. 1, then absolutely go Colt or LMT.

If cost is the driving concern, then go Stag. Still a nice rifle.
 
I wouldn't stress about the Stag. They are in the hands of both Patrol Officers and SWAT guys out here and running toe to toe with Colt Canada guns. The savings are best spent on ammo and training IMO.
 
Yeah, the LMT and Colts only really distinguish themselves in high volume or FA fire. The LMT/Colt rifles have stronger extractor inserts and fully proofed and tested bolt/barrel assemblies and the better barrel steel. But, yes, pretty academic for a semi auto range gun...
You won't regret the Stag, I'm sure.
 
Well the stag I want is 12.5 inch from arms east ... They said it's not a stag barrel tho... They said it was a blank made by them ... How are they? better than stag or just as good or not on par.
 
Why would you even mention the MRP unless you secretly want one.

I can honestly say I don't ever think I'll be able to test mine to the limits the way other black rifle guys do theirs. The added reliability factor is lost on me since I'm neither LEO or military. I'm happy it goes bang every time.

But the truth is the LMT MRP sure makes me feel dirty every time I pull it out on the range. Mainly because to me it was an indulgence.

I own an RRA and occasionally shoot a Stag 2T which are also nice. But no jizz.

Safe to say my wife calls my LMT a mid life crisis purchase.

Who's issuing Stag in the LMD?
 
Money is not to much of a concern I mean I plan to keep it forever soo if I have to wait go anthor paycheck to get a better product then I will but I don't wanna throw money away on nonsence
