My 22 shoots 1/2" groups at 50 yards/meters all day! Really? Prove it!

Oh yeah redshooter, Yodave is just doing that for the good of the thread. We can't let it go off in a different direction.

:D I hear you, He's made some humorous comments over the years. I'm just trying to bait him into a reply. The odd bit of banter can liven up a thread, lol, even if it's interesting enough on its own.

Your work on these threads is appreciated by me and many others I'm sure.

Thanks. I appreciate it. It's been fun and interesting. I'm just wondering when someone will say enough is enough. i think 5 challenges is my limit.

Well you are doing a very good job keeping them on track !!

I want to congratulate you for doing so.

It's been a fair and honest challenge. I have tried 2 success here still trying the 100 y
Your only competing against yourself. And the challenges are quite tough not a cake walk in any regard.

But been fun.

Thank you.

I dug this up from the third page. If there is no longer any interest in it I will not monitor it any more.

There is on my behalf. I have 3 rimfires that will grace these pages as soon as I get a decent range day. I drove out to the range last week to try only to have our Chinook winds blow my targets over while attempting.

I'm also anxiously waiting for the Savages( the gun.. ) that shoot -1/2" with CCI Blazer or American Eagle to start showing up.

I suspect the thread will have legs for another couple of months--I have little doubt a lot have tried and will re-try...and then there are those of us who still have a foot of snow to go before we dig out the rest of the inventory.

Time to dig out the Anschutz.

The nice thing about this one is that you can try and try without having to sell a kidney to feed the beast.
Trouble is, I sold my Annie 1710 a couple of years ago because I couldn't bear taking that beautifull piece of wood into a gopher patch. So now, I need to pick up another one --- talk about giving up a kidney:)

At least its only a foot. I wish I could say the same.

The last time I tried it was too windy so I shot at my little gongs at 300 m. lol, Hit the 3 1/2" once too, even with the 25 km/h winds. Note once, didn't say how many I fired.

That was foolish. I almost bought one a few years ago but didn't. Stupid. I do stil have my M54 and I don't intend on letting it go anytime soon...that would be the time I decided to take up metallic silhouette again!

I gave it a quick try today but the wind and rain was making it a real challenge wind changes were causing 1.5" or each direction had to chase each shot. I blew it on the last 2 groups something like .600s I did make one under .2 though. I tried this a few times a flyer would always destroy it on me.
I started on the lower right and worked up then over to the left then down.

What scope you got on there? Looks really clear.
