Great shooting once again. I added you to the successful list.

I added a requirement to the rules. I thought it was in there but it wasn’t. You can not cut a strip of paper off of a target that has your 5 successful groups on it. You must show the whole target with no other holes. So from now on all entries must show the full sheet of paper.

Here are the requirements for the challenge:

You must use a 22 lr

There is no restriction on action type or cost of the firearm

You may use any 22lr ammo you wish

You must shoot five 5 shot groups at 50 yards/meters

All 5 groups must be under 1/2"

All 5 groups must be on the same paper

You must show the full sheet of paper (no cutting a strip off). If you are shooting a strip of paper you must show the before and after.

There cannot be any other groups on your "official" target

There cannot be anything on your target that could be hiding any group or bullet hole that is not part of your "official" attempt

All the attempts at the challenge must have been shot after the challenge was issued

Your post must include the following:

A pic of your rifle and the rest you used

A pic of your target with all 5 groups visible and the group sizes and group average written on the target

A pic of your largest group with a set of calipers to verify the group size

Your rifle info

Your post must also have THE GROUP SIZES AND AVERAGE WRITTEN IN THE POST

Please put all your info into ONE POST. If you forgot anything please EDIT your post to include the missing info

ALL POSTS MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED INFO OR I WILL IGNORE THEM UNTIL ALL THE INFO IS INCLUDED IN THE POST!!!!!

Thank you....I could have posted the whole target as i didnt shoot any of the bulls, I just cut the targets off I shot and saved the rest of the unused target for ARA practice, I will get it right next time. I have watched this thread for a long time, good info and something to compare how I am shooting.

I wish I had seen the post about needing the whole sheet, I usually use 1/4" stickers in a row of 5, 2 rows per sheet and cut it in half. I almost made the 1/4" club today but was the method I described. I will include a pic of the target and if you will accept it I will add the required info. From now on its only 5 stickers per page. I completed the challenge once already using the same rifle and centre x ammo. Today I was using sk pistol match.

Let me know if this qualifies or not and if it does I will add the rest of the info.

It’s only one entry per rifle. But you can make another entry with the same rifle if you make the 1/4” club.

To Underthegun, Since some one insists this post is questionable. I deleted, and save this spot for tighter groups on T1x later. Please wipe the name from the lists. Thanks,

Underthegun, I will remove this post if you wish.

An observation about group sizes. When there are two bullet holes that are so wide apart that another bullet hole can be put between them and have paper showing between the three bullet holes, the group size must be greater than .440 (assuming a bullet size of .22 inches).

This group must be a minium of .440". Any space between the holes makes it even larger.

agreed and that is what I always look at. Jeff. and I hold many many Canadian and other records

Just a quick comment here. I have what seems to be the same digi-caliper many others are using, a CanTire M-Craft. I found I needed to 're-zero' between every measurement because the tool was 'loosing' zero frequently and I was getting some amazing measurements -both up and down. Whattya get for $20? I often re-zero and re-check a measurement to verify accuracy, especially if it looks to be a 'great shot'. My Marlin 60 can turn in some half-inch groups if I'm patient, and even my Savage 64, but not consistently enough to go onto this thread. I just got a B22 and maybe . . .

I completed the challenge and have pictures for proof, I still don’t know how to upload them to this site. I did it with Ruger Precision rimfire , vortex strike eagle 3-18 and used a 4 wheeler storage box as a rest. Sk yellow box ammo.
