International Barrels Inc (IBI) in Chilliwack, BC. It's a drop in barrel for anyone that has basic smithing skills. I had IBI do the install as they are only 15 minutes from my house so they did it while I waited.
My 22 shoots 1/2" groups at 50 yards/meters all day! Really? Prove it!

A member has asked me to remeasure the 0.4250 grouping, as they feel it is impossible for it to be less than 0.4400 by virtue of where the bullet holes are. Instead of re-writing it, I've provided an additional image of the target run through OnTarget. Although the target software interprets the groups to be larger than what was measured quickly by calipers at the range, it is still within the 0.500 CTC.
The remeasured numbers would be:
0.463
0.478
0.480
0.426
0.491
for a 5-Group AVG of 0.4676

Try some Eley Contact, it works well in my Tikka, though it suffers a bit in cold weather.
SK Biathlon Sport isn't too bad for the price, as a cold weather ammo.
The CCI SV is a surprisingly good performer in most Tikkas, but their level of QC comes back to bite it in the a** over the long run of 25 in a row.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll see if Bullseye or anyone has some Contact and SK Biathlon. So far SK LR Match has been the consistency winner, so I went ahead and ordered a brick. But I’m welcome to try other stuff to get me in the 1/2” club
. I definitely agree on the CCI SV comment. I shot the 5 target challenge yesterday and had one group at .511” the rest were under the required 1/2” (25 round avg of .386”), shot again today for a 25 round avg of .637”. As I said it’ll make for pretty dang good high volume gong slapping ammo

Tonight calls for a celebration! May I present you with the first fully qualifying target for the 1/4" club! This has been a long time coming. Two years of shooting with my custom 455, thousands of dollars worth of ammo, innumerable close calls, yet today the planets and stars finally aligned. It was a few degrees above freezing, with very calm wind conditions. I had the range all to myself, so I could get in my rhythm and not be disturbed, which makes for a pleasant range day.
The Rifle: CZ 455 in custom Boyd's Pro-Varmint stock with custom, 24" straight 0.850" 3-groove Lilja barrel. Harrell's tuner at 238.
The Scope: Leupold Competition 45X
The Ammo: RWS R-50 Lot# 417IL319
The Rest: Caldwell Rock, wide front bag. Caldwell Rear Bag
Groups: 0.211", 0.244", 0.235", 0.209", 0.219"
Average: 0.224"

It's been over a month since this thread's been bumped. A lot of shooters may have been kept from their ranges because of the Covid19 shutdown. My range opened this week, as did other ranges in Ontario. I hope if there's a second wave it won't be so bad as to shut them down again.
To the business at hand. I bought this 2005-manufactured CZ 452 American over the winter. It doesn't look like it's seen much action. I've always thought the 452 Americans were fine looking sporter rifles. This one shoots too. I used a Harris bipod as it seemed a good match for the lightweight rifle.
The distance was 57 yards. The scope is a Weaver V24. SK Rifle Match was the ammo.
From left to right: .357, .362, .363, .451, and .343". Average size: .375".
The smallest groups today was .197".
