Nice shooting, Jeff. A caliper photo is needed to be official.
A new rifle requires a new entry. This is 6 groups as it was shot for the Sniper's Hide 6x5 thread but everything is comfortably under 0.5".
0.265", 0.198", 0.314", 0.236", 0.365", 0.339" for 6 group average of 0.286".

Rifle is an Vudoo V-22 with 18" MTU profile barrel and Trigger Tech Diamond in an MDT ACC chassis shooting Center-X. The rifle is positioned so my face is in the shadow of the table while shooting.

Nice shooting. I added you to the successful list, and I believe you have the first Vudoo on it.
Finally after hurricane force winds all spring, I got a calm afternoon to do some shooting. Rifle is a factory CZ 452 vamint with a Yodave trigger kit. Scope is a bushnell rimfire 6-18x40mm. SK standard plus ammo.
Group sizes:
0.3575"
0.2810"
0.3615"
0.4745"
0.3165"
Average group size is 0.3602"

This is my first entry so hopefully I did not miss anything!
Sorry, off topic, what range is this? Been to a few in Sask as I live here, but that one doesn't look familiar. Nice shooting BTW and rifle![]()
Nice work, YoungGun96. Looking at your pictures, the middle target (.2810") appears larger than the bottom right target (.3165"). Is it possible the measurements were somehow mislabled?
Excellent shooting and results. You may wish to double check the .227 group as there's paper showing between the two bullet holes furthest apart.
About why there aren't more Bergara's (or Tikka T1X, CZ MTR, or other relatively new models) on the list there is a theory. A lot of guys try out rifles such as these at 50 yards. After all, other than 25 yards targets, what's more convenient to do at a range with 50 yard targets? They find that shooting five consecutive five-shot-groups is not as easy as it may appear. They then declare that their rifles can do this all day long, and move to long range shooting at over 200 yards, where groups are not relevant.
I get a lot of enjoyment out of printing tiny groups but at the same time recognize that other than breathing and follow through I'm not really testing my skills as a shooter.
Perhaps you're right. Now that they know that nothing is needed other than breathing and follow through, surely more of those shooters with Bergara and the likes will post successful challenges just as you have. At the same time, it's possible that the absence of those rifles indicates that many of them may not be up to the challenge even when the secrets of breathing and follow through are practiced. Time will tell.
https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/6x5-thread-v4-0-new-1-1-20.6253073/ .Bergara and the likes assuming you mean the other newish 700 footprint repeaters like the vudoo and rimx seem to be doing just fine even with those young and dumb prs guys driving them. I would think you dont see many on this list is because people are purpose building them for practical type matches where their scores wont be improved because they shot thousands of rounds off a bench to go from a .33" group to a .28" group and their time would be better spent practicing positions like the previous poster was trying to explain. It probably doesn't help that every post showing good results out of these guns is met with a certain amount of passive aggressive and condescending replies as seen in the quote above.
I have had 4 rifles capable, and targets that prove it I just can’t be bothered
