Does anyone know if the Diemaco TRIAD rail, the ambi charging handle and green Elcan with the green condom on it could somehow legally end up in civvie hands? I’ve seen some on EE (well, maybe not the green Elcan) as well as some other stuff as well like triggers, bolt carriers, barrels etc.

Well, that’s the thing, could these items have been acquired legally? I know that the TRIAD rail was never for sale to the public, but could Diemaco have given free samples to their employees at one point in time, factory rejects maybe?

No. Most are stolen CF parts. A few triads were sold by police. If we do decide to sell any I will likely mark them to differentiate.
 
Just dont stick the NSN # on them and mark them COLT Canada...

BTW I want one... lol.... I cant belive they were not included for the IOP Program. They would complete The C8A3 look....

That extended charging handle is the only thing I would never stick on my gun.... What a peice of sh!te

the old school BUIS is also something I would want....

Haha, it’s funny, I haven’t been in very long, but me and the other gun nutz at my unit have spent the last few years working with the C7A2 and cursing the issue furniture, wishing we could dump it for our personal Gucci $hit (including the POS TRIAD) and now a lot of us are running around trying to track this crap down to make it more authentic.

Yeah, most people I know hate the extended charging handle as well, always gets caught on the vest or other piece of kit.

LOL I hate all issued gear as well. But this C8 is more a collector peice for me. and it needs to look the part...
