I dont know if they are all the same, but of the two I handled, the one that had the action smoothed showed a lot of difference and was well worth it. Still a very ###y and accurate gun.

I found this post: http://p201.ezboard.com/fczechpistols82792frm15.showMessage?topicID=659.topic about how to do it yourself.

Strip the frame and slide down to al of its components, debur, stone and polish all moving parts and do the same to the frame and slide. Polish all pins, polish the inside of the main spring, reshape the hammer strut. This will reduce a lot of friction. Next is to cut the sear face and hammer face and hooks, stone and polish the sides of the sear and hammer and don't forget the hammer way in the frame and interior of the sear cage and FPB lever nd plunger. Do the same for the slide, with a round Arkansas stone lightly stone the plunger hole and firing pin channel. Make sure the springs are polished on the interior and exterior with 800 grit paper and honing oil.

Reassemble and if you did it right is should be like a new gun.

Wow. That's got my attention.

I'm definately going to have to handle a CZ-75 of some variety to see how it feels in my hand and then maybe order one if I like it.

Hey nine,

can you read French? There is a nice article (4 pages..with the usual stunning pics) on the SP01 in the latest edition of Calibres..I am in Montreal and can pick up a copy for you.

Woot! Got the mags in the mail today. Sweet! :D Can't read french, but there are some seriously cool gear in these mags. I'll just have to find the product online... it's like a set of picture books to me... just the way I like it! :p BTW, Is there an english version of "Commando"?

What do you charge to do the work?

jstreet was just reposting something he found on another forum. Missosi gun works does post over on the CZforum.
In the USA he and Angus Hobdell of Ghostholster.com are well known cz smiths. But there are others. In Canada Gunnar of Armco is probably your best bet for CZ work.

Ok, had a chance to put 100 rounds down range tonight. I'd take any pics or videos though.

It ran without a hiccup. I have noticed a significant improvement in the trigger already; I have read online that this is due to parts coming in contact with "powder coated" surfaces, and smoothing out. I was shooting about 3-4" groups off-hand(@ 25M), noticing better accuracy with the 124gr bullets as opposed to the 115gr'ers. I am interested to see how 147grs will perform. As I have noted before, the recoil is very low; pretty neat actually. It is still "snappy" but the arc is very short, making the ability to align the sights quicker. I am still getting used to shooting it, but so far I am very pleased. I'm sure I can shrink those groups with a little more practice... *I* need some trigger work. LOL (Sigh) :D
