My CZ 75 SP-01 is in...

You'll have to special order it. I'm sure anyone who carries the standard Sp-01, would be able to get one, but mine took a bazzilion years to come it. (Ok, 6 months... but still!) Well worth the wait though.

Does the SP-01 accept CZ75/85 mags?

Oh..edited to add: This is the decocker only version, correct? Can the slide be racked with the decocker in the "safe" position?
Thanks! :)

the sp01 comes with the 10 round cz75/85 mags in Canada. Factory SP01 mags are not available in Canada.

Thanks! I noticed that the one I saw in a gunshop last week seemed to have a "regular" mag inserted...a metal baseplate, no rubber bumper pad.
Those big fat rubber bumper pads on the factory SP01 mags would be nice for PD, mind you....I should ask Vince if that'd be PD legal...
Naw...he'd probably rip my arm off and hit me over the head with the soggy end..:p :D

The one I have is the ambi safety model. You can not engage the safety unless the hammer is cocked. You cannot rack the slide while the safety is engaged.

Could we do a group buy from the States or Europe and have them pinned prior to import? I feel shortchanged with my mags as well. I'm sure alot of us would pay the extra to have the complete SP01 experience.

I know if we did it on CGN we'd need permission from GT, but would it be something worth doing? I'd be in for a few.

Nine, how come your SP-01 has three rail slots BootsSiR's only has two?

Because only the first 10 in Canada have the two slots on the rail.

They did this at the factory so the true CZ fans could be distinguished from the later bandwagon poseurs.

Nice Sp01, Oh... A three sloter? Bummer dude... J/K.

Lol Nine, I thought you'd get a laugh. It was a bit of a dig at my buddy PC9. He's had a bout of glock flu lately but he's coming around with his new SP01. :D

Thanks! Which is the most common model in Canada.....the decocker or the 'safety' model that can be cocked and locked?
If anyone has the decocker model, I'd like to know if the slide can be racked with the decocker on "safe". :)
JOOC, what are the main differences between the SP-01 and the CZ75/85 models?

6, the ambi decocker has no safety. The decocker only "decocks" the hammer. It will be ready to fire in double action at that point. The decocker acts only as a lever which resets after decocking.

Ultra-###y full length dustcover with rail (slide subsequently thicker at front), factory night sights. I think it was the beefier slide/frame that grabbed me. Other than these cosmetic changes, it's still a CZ 75, and there ain't nothing wrong with that! ;)

75B (two-tone) and 75 SP-01
