My first AR builds, almost done.

OP, so is the left side of your ADCOR upper rifle void of a rail cover or did you modify one? I have a similar one as yours. Also with the same FDE Eotech (no magnifyer). I need to go with rail covers but.. the left side I think I'll just have to leave as is. I was hoping maybe you had a really good looking converted rail cover? I do like that side charger. Especially when prone. very worth losing the cover and space for that charger. Very cool. But even better if there is a good looking and functional way to modify a rail cover for it.

Here's one of mine. I have a black one that's the same. Sorry no pictures yet with the optics. The FDE one I went with the FDE Eotech that looks like yours. The SOCOM version. For the black one I went with a Hi-Lux CRV 1-4x. I'm actually fairly impressed with it. The reviews weren't wrong. In an ADM mount it works and looks good. Not as fancy as many other optics but it's deceptively good.

You are correct the left side I had to leave the rail cover off and I had to move the EOTech back a couple more slots than I would have liked for clearance when using the forward charging handle. The clearance for the charging handle and the rail just doesn't allow for any rail covers that I have found yet.

I appreciate the info I did scour from your posts as I did a lot of searching about ADCOR on here and other places but found very little but the first time I handled one at the range I knew I had to have one. Now with this rifle I have commonality with my Tavor, and RFB for charging to rifle and have a back up with the Raptor. If it were NR this rifle would be with me everywhere I could.

Thanks!

I'll will do research to purchase it... look really nice!

;)

I also just rembered that I have a NIB Bolt carrier group in the Tungsten AERO as well.

So many little things not easily remembered. I didn't keep a build sheet purposefully so the wife wouldn't know how much I spent in the last few months before Christmas.

Don't do at anytime a "build sheet".... never ever do that ;)

What kind of optic are you running on top of the acog?

It's an ACOG / RMR Combo - Trijicon ACOG 4x32 Scope, Dual Illuminated Red Chevron .223 Ballistic Reticle, 3.25 MOA RMR Sight with A.R.M.S® #19 LD ACOG Throw Lever adapter for Picatinny Rails and Tenebraex® killFLASH® Anti-Reflection Device... was one package deal... that I wasn't able to refuse!!!

Like the RMR for 3 guns!!!

I am looking for this exact same setup for my Colt. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay??

so true, I'm afraid to count how much is in my MK18... and I still have so much to do lol

The PEQ/DBal and Elcan are the killers of a Mk18 Clone. Somewhere in one of the US threads it was saying the average build is between $5k-$6500 U.S. when done to spec

I found it at DS Tactical site at $2,379.99... but a friend had an offer for a new one at 1000.00$ Can't refuse... was my first item of my AR...

That was my initiation to build AR that doesn't have end!!! infinite AR ;)

Infinity option through internet door to too many stores and products... so many options!!!
