My first plastic fantastic

I concur that that G19 is one of the best, if not the best carry gun.
Played around some more tonight, still prefer the Beretta, but I like the G19 just fine. It'll be a good trainer gun for students too.

G22 is better, same frame but 40 Cal.

no that's Glock 23, 22 is full size (g17 frame)

Few months got my first plastic gun as well, not a glock; Steyr M9-A1 which is about the size of G19... Beretta is still my favourite handgun though :)

IM_ Lugger, don't worry, you'll come around ;) . Slavex, from what I saw on Thursday, those slide marks will work themselves in in short order (all will be well my friend} :dancingbanana:

yeah I'll either get callouses, or permanent slide tracks in my hand.....
Took the gun apart last night, put it back together today, they are awfully easy to totally disassemble. though the slide catch spring thing is a bit tricky the first few times.
Now I just need to start polishing. what parts and where?
and which spring(s) am I going to replace to reduce the trigger pull?

so I broke it, or at least ####ed it up. I did the $0.25 trigger job and screwed it up. Guess I should've actually paid attention to what I was doing. Now it's in WrenchGods hands to fix. hahahaha, I suck.

it felt like sandpaper, it wouldn't reset, all sorts of stuff. Wrench has fixed it though, and I'll be picking it up next week.

Hi Slavex,I have a G34 I bought 4yrs. ago due to your advice !and I have no regrets and would buy it again if given the chance.
I did the 25 cent trigger job and the feed ramp but one thing I would caution would be is polish until shinny then stop so you don't go through the hard chrome and hit the steel that glock internals have, because the hard chrome is very slick compared to polish steel!
Hope to see you at the range Friday.
