Are you measuring center to center or outside to outside?
I zeroed the calipers at .308 and measured edge to edge.

Of course, 2 years ago when I started this project I had no idea what I was doing. Its been a hell of a learning process. Thankfully there are websites and Forums such as CGN to help newbs like myself figure it all out.
I hope to repeat this in the very near future...mabey next time I make it out to the range. The load testing continues...
i'm guessing that's center to center grouping
Not to take away from the target but what camera did you use for that pic? It is a awesome photo.
Nice shooting. Very well done. I posted a similar target and the precision gurus told me I was garbage. I think it's pretty darn good!Take a 10 shot group and repost. You would be shocked at the results![]()
I don't know what the trigger is set at, I lowered it as far as it would go while still remaining in safety. NOT LOW ENOUGH. I would say its probably still at 4-5 lbs. It was really really heavy from factory. Next upgrade is a new trigger.
Thanks for all the comments, I will post more pics as the shooting progresses.

Only about the first 100 rounds down the tube were factory, best group was about 1.5". FGMM goes for about $2.00 a shot, so I was not interested in match grade ammo. I went straight to reloading and haven't looked back. I know that my reloads are better and less expensive than regular ammo. Not sure if its better than match grade ammo because I have never tired it.
I would say it took me about 6 months before I had some idea of what was really going on. Reloading is kind of an art. So many variables to consider. But its been alot of fun. The stars may have aligned for this group to happen...after all, its the single best group I have ever shot.
