Congrats! I am a fan of Steyrs adjustable LOP system. (Why don't more manufacturers offer such a system?)
Coupled with the SBS safety I think you have a rifle that trumps the Sako Black Bear.

How's the recoil?

It's only a 450 Marlin, not a real hard kicker.

Should be a dandy rifle.

No set trigger on this rifle, but the one on it is nicely adjustable. I believe the set trigger was an option for these though according to the literature that came with the beasty.

Mine had a set trigger.... A useless extravagance on a rifle like this IMO.

I tend to agree on that one, but man...I love this rifle! It's the only synthetic stocked unit I've owned (And there's been plenty) that I can't keep me mitts off of and it finds it's way onto the "viewing chair" beside the TV so much now that my leverguns are gettin' jealous! Can't wait till my dies show up.

How does the adjustable LOP system work on this rifle? I was not aware of this feature on them
I have a Benelli R1 which has inserts located where the stock meets the handgrip to make LOP changes
