I bought my first SxS shot gun at the pentiction gun show on the weekend. It's a Yildiz 12 Gauge model Elagent A2 with five screw in choke's,rubber butt plate,extractor's,28" barrels and weighs in at about 6.5 pounds. I went out on saturday and shot some clays with it and it's one hell of a good shooter.

Let me say first of all, congratulations! I'll bet you sleep with it under your pillow tonight . . .

Also, those are fantastic quality pictures you've presented there. Let us all know what youdid to achieve such magazine-quality images. Those are just outstanding!

Tell us more about the gun, and take more pics of the various parts if you can. It looks gorgeous.

the picture's i took were with an olympus digital camera,7.1 meaga pixel using the macro feature and a tripod with fill in flash. i also shoot on the highest picture quality i could. As far as more details about the gun go it's made in turkey, the engraving is hand done and the fit and finish are impeccible. The action is smooth and tight, the double triggers are a joy to use.The screw in chokes are flush mount and are very easy to take in and out.

Nice Gun!

I have been hearing lots of good things about they Yildiz... and I have been eyeing the Elegant A2... but have never heard of anyone actually owning one...

Tell us more... how does it handle? Shoot? Clearly it looks awesome, I can't wait to hear more.

Very nice! Congrats. One word of WARNING. When you bought the Yildiz you did something very dangerous. You stepped into the world of sxs's and the addiction level is very severe.
This will not be your last sxs purchase and that's without getting into o/u's.Enjoy to the max.

Congrats......nice looking sxs. Out of curiosity, how is the trigger pull on your shotgun? Let us know when you have had an opportunity to pattern that.

Thanks everyone, i already have the felt hat and a filson shooting vest ,can hardy wait for bird season to open. I have'nt patterned it yet but plan to do it this weekend will post as sone as possible. On the first time out the gun seems to shoot really well, it points and swing's very nice.I dont have a trigger pull gauge but i would say it's around 3.5-4 pounds on the front trigger and a little less on the back trigger. The rubber recoil pad is very nice when doing alot of shooting and seems to soak up alot of the recoil. If there is anyone looking for one of these there might be one left at the kamloops show this weekend. The guy i bought it from had one more at the pentiction show if it did'nt sell it will be there. It has the same scroll work but has an english straight stock and a single slective trigger.

Not me. I hunt in the woods.:D

LOL!

Heck, I don't even wear a tie to work and the idea of getting up at 3AM and then put on a tie for a hunting trip will be highly depressing :D :D .....the birds (no pun intended) most certainly will not lower their disapproval rating of me even if I ventured out to hunt them dressed like that :D

Grizzlyking, next you'll find that you need a versatile hunting dog to go with that fine shotgun. It's a slippery slope, welcome to the club!
