.... shooting further then 300yds. I had the chance today to shoot at 600m, and it was an educational experience.
The good: my 168grs held 3.5" vertical.
The bad: wind was blowing them around a fair bit. Not that that bothers me, since I am embarrassingly inexperienced at that range, but it was interesting to see how much of a difference it makes. I had shot at 300m earlier in the day, and made some nice 3-shot groups under 2", but that was nothing compared to 600m. I have some 185 grainers on order, but will have to wait a while before I have the chance to make a load and test it out.
