My kinda "FALish" XCR.

Ok I know the adaptor is ugly and LOP is too long, I might end up using the stock on an AR. It's a walnut stock made by Dan Konrad ht tp://ar15woodstocks.com/: nice guy, great service. Tell me what you think but I'm warning you if you are not kind I will post it on the Main Battle Rifles forum :D.

The wood looks very nice, can't say I'd ever want to shoot the rifle though.... looks like it'd be awkward as all hell with that LOP. I think that furniture on an AR would be slick though.

Looks great!!! I would not mind it on my XCR.

I probably would not mind the additional length too as I have already added a 1 inch spacer between the rubber shoulder pad and stock to make it comfy.

You just need a carry handle attached to the top rail to complete the FAL look.

Congratulations.

Nothing about that looks good.
The mating of the surfaces is disjointed (as you've pointed out) and the curving lines to both the butt stock and the pistol grip are superfluous, doing nothing for the design.
The fact there is no 'furniture' on the front of the rifle gives a lop-sided impression.
If it works for you, then it doesn't matter what it looks like I guess as all asthetics is to individual taste and very subjective.

Comparing the flowing lines of the FAL to an XCR is like comparing the classic design of the Jaguar E type to a Chevy Cobalt.:puke: or a FN Highpower to the Springfield XD.

Hope none of that offends you, it's just my honest opinion.:p

Great! now I m about to cry.

Is this the start of classy assault weapons???

No, it is the start of them being called the next evolution in the classic American hunting rifle, which is what they are. :) (Its just us in Canada the are silly about them not being used for hunting anymore.) :(

Looks good, won't be too hard to net a proper adapter.

The set was made specifically for an AR, perhaps if one was ordered specifically for that rifle (XCR?), the stock could be fashioned in such as way as to include a shorter but intregral adapter that would flow with that firearm. I would love to have a setup like that on my Colt Match H-Bar.

Regards,

Jamie P.

I like it. Sure the adapter is not the best, but a great start.

It does need some wood on the fore end though to balance out the look. Very promising though.
