Update:
I loaded some 58gr Vmax, and 85gr partitions and finally mounted a scope. After 4 sighting in shots, here are the first two cold barrel groups. I can't wait to shoot it more, hopefully these arent flukes and it continues to shoot good.

I think that would be an ideal walking-around rifle for an old guy like me ( hint hint ) !
Great for varmints and a nice Deer cartridge to boot.

That turned out very nicely indeed. I like the shape of those HT stocks a lot.

How fast could you push a 90 grain AB with that cartridge?

Sadly it won't be shot for a while, the paint needs to cure... I shouldn't have even assembled it, but a guy gets anxious.
Supercub, it's either 21 or 22" it's not in front of me and I honestly don't remember what I decided on.

It pushes a 55gr faster than a 223 can and it's also legal for big game here in Alberta.
