I ever get down under, I'll look you up!
Fallow and sambar on my bucket list! Red deer, rusa and sika too!
Couple of nice looking Fallow bucks there!
And yes, a good left handed rifle will spoil any hunter/shooter/rifleman in his "right" mind!
While the A Bolt and A Bolt II have the hinge plate and detachable magazine, that some do (or do not) care for, to me the big advantage was being able to top load that magazine without taking it out of the rifle. An option I do miss on the X Bolt. As I carry a spare magazine in a pouch on my belt, so it isn't that big a deal to swap magazines quickly.
I do like the way they handle and balance well when shouldered. Never really noticed the weight when hunting with them, as they handled so nicely. Mine were in the 280 Rem, so not much difference in recoil with the 160 and 162 gr bullets I was loading in it, compared to your loads. Mine would produce sub-MOA accuracy so I was very happy with their performance. Never had one of my harvested animals complain either! LOL
I do warn people, that once you get used to shooting a left handed rifle, you really do not want to go back to a right handed rifle.
