I just got my Luger back from Dlask.
It used to have a 5" 7.62 Mauser barrel on it.
I found the ammo to be expensive, and hard to find so it being a mixed parts gun, I decided to make it practical.
I had Joe put on a 110mm barrel in 9mm, and Russ did a quick polish, and re-blue.
I just got some new grips for it in perfect shape. The old ones were re-checkered, and not done well. They wound up a bit thinner as well.
When I took them off I found the wood looked very nice from the inside, so I might just make them smooth, to bring out the beautiful curly grain in them.
It looks like a brand new gun! I am very pleased with the work. They only charged me $60 extra to blue the whole thing.
I will now have some 7.62 ammo, shells, bullets, and dies for sale soon.
The old barrel had to be lathed off, and is now useless.
It's going to be a fun shooter.
Enjoy!
