After following the jeep thread I thought it might be interesting to show my milsurp vehicle.
This is a 1965 CJ750 Motorcycle. It is a clone of a Russian M72, which was a clone of a BMW R-71. The bike was built in a Chinese munitions plant. It was restored in civilian dress so its military past is not very prominent....The only thing that is still in the original army green is the sidecar brake lever.
I have had the bike for about 5 years and have it insured year round. It is one tough and reliable bike. Aside from vibration issues causing things to shake loose and broken rear spokes its posed no mechanical problems. The only problem is getting anywhere because so many people want to talk to me about it...
Cheers. Steve.
